So we took the time to install a Solid State Drive in our iMac. That was a mistake. Well, it wasn’t a mistake in that we regret the results — they are fantastic, this thing screams — it’s just that it was so incredibly daunting that I doubt I’d ever want to go through that again.
There’s no two ways about it; installing an SSD in an iMac is probably one of the most difficult computer upgrades one could ever fathom attempting. Yes, it’s not for the feint of heart.
