Something tells me that not everyone takes advantage of OS X’s wonderful Hot Corner functionality. Hot Corners allow you to perform specific actions when you drag your mouse corner to any one of the four corners on your screen.
I like to use the “show desktop” action and assign it to my bottom left-hand Hot Corner. This allows me to move files to and from my desktop with ease…
Hot Corners can also be used to move files to and fro with Mission Control.
