How to make your iOS screenshots look much better with Screentaker

by Jeff Benjamin on April 23, 2012

I’ve never been much of a fan of plain jane iOS screenshots, they just look unattractive to me. Thankfully there’s a handy way to spiffy up your screenshots, and you don’t have to fire up Photoshop in order to do so.

Screentaker is a Mac App Store app that allows you to frame your iOS screenshots with iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad frames that are much more like product shots. Not only will this make your posts or your app advertisements look more appealing, it can also save you loads of time…

Screentaker is an intelligent app, because it will automatically recognize what type of screenshot you’re working with, and present you with the appropriate device framing options. There are settings to change the device, orientation, and effect for each screenshot you choose to format.

For those of you who feel like the app’s included options aren’t enough, there also a provision to download additional effects to process your screenshots.

Screentaker’s a bit steep at $4.99, but it looks wonderful, and can save you tons of time to boot. Click here to give Screentaker a shot today.
