OS X Mountain Lion launches tomorrow

Apple announced on today’s earnings call that Mountain Lion will be releasing tomorrow. Are you fully prepared for the upgrade?

The update will be available to all on the Mac App Store for $19.99.

It’s probably a good idea to create a USB boot disk after downloading Mountain Lion tomorrow, so be sure to read our how to guide for an easy tutorial on how to do so.

Tweetbot for Mac released — sort of.

Tweetbot for Mac was released today, but it might not be exactly as expected. There is no Mac App Store version, and the release is an alpha release.

Tweetbot for Mac reportedly releasing today

It looks like the highly anticipated Mac version of Tweetbot will be released today, according to the talk on Twitter, and a not so subtle tweet by Tapbots developer Paul Haddad.

As you can see, his tweet originates from the “Tweetbot for Mac” client, and he take a jab at all of the speculation with his “going to the beach” announcement. I’m happy, because I’m a diehard Tweetbot user, and this means I can finally sync my tweets across all devices that I use day in and day out.
